Loads gunna happen next year,
Al's album is all mixed bar one song which needs the drums redoing... sounds ace. Have
just recorded the majority of Hip Slinky's album, Chris is still drumming for mindwire,
bumped into Rob in guildford who suggested a reunion gig, halloween was available as a
ringtone which was cool! Still playing all the old Redwood tracks with Al at the open mic
nights. Am going to try to organise something in the new year... |

its been a long long time since i last saw you, was hoping to see you at the wedding ages
ago but aparently you were busy working or summat somewhere. last time you saw me i was a
tiny little kid. anyway im still living here in donington and the music scenes getting
better and better. me and a mate got together and did a few things (me on bass) and we've
managed to get one of the songs on a compilation album coming out. i started playing
colourblind to all my mates and within no time people were trying to get hold of it, to no
avail unfortunatly. they love it over here and your getting more and more popular! I only
just managed to find the site.. and nice job:) ill tell people to start gettin the cd's
straight away. whats the status of the band atm? and people are right, you'd rip up mtv
and kerrang with stuff like Claustrophobe and Sad sick world so get looking into it. rob

Not meaning to try and sway
decisions at all... but the music industry has recently come round to finding the redwood
style of music to their taste. With your experience and quality playing, along with Al's
voice, im sure that the band would be more successful if they were ever to reform. Songs
like Claustraphobe would tear up anything on Kerrang TV by miles these days, plus you have
the independent radio stations, and the numerous digital TV channels to spread the word
on. |

We will be posting something
soon as we get a lot of questions about whats happening. Although Al and I play
Redwood/Lazydog songs every week at various open mics and we even played a slot at
Guildford Festival, the last time the band was together was almost a year ago. Reunions
have not been ruled out but its only fair to clarify the situation. We will post something
by the end of August to this effect. Thankyou for evryones continuing support, whatever

Well, it's been three years
since the last Redwood album and the last official redwood gigs... How's life post-redwood
for the four of you, Gus? Do you ever have any thoughts about reforming officially and
doing a new album and gigs, or is that never going to happen? It's just that it's all been
left a bit open-ended, the way this site is still up and running, as though the band's
still going.. I figured maybe you guys hadn't made up your minds yet about if you were
just taking a break from Redwood or whether it was for good, so you left the site running
for the time being. Well, it's been a few years, so I was just wondering if you've reached
any conclusions yet (I dunno how often you get to talk to the other guys about it). Being
in Redwood for ten years must have been exhausting, getting a record deal after years of
demo-making and then losing it again must have been hard. I can see why you all needed a

sooo good!! Quality is great, no worries on the technicial side of things. As for the
songs they rock! Even this early on your stuff was better than most of the lameass guitar
bands around now. Finally we get to hear the unacoustic version of Red Glow(acoustic)!

almo sounds folded, you should've got another deal (playing more than one gig a year
would've helped there). Well you've had your four year break; recording a chillout album
and playing no gigs, you must be raring to get back to work by now!!? Get out of the
Westend Centre's obscure oblivion night and into the pages of Kerrang and the soundtrack
of daytime soaps again where you belong! I want to go to a redwood gig and wear my redwood
shirt and see Rob play the solo to "outside"... i want to see angus blast out
the "power trip" chord sequence... i want to see Al with a bass guitar again,
singing to a full backing band not an old acoustic and a metronome. Pllllleaaaaaase all

Hello Everyone!!! Where have
you been all this time? I have just found this website after three years of listening to
your music and wondering where you had sloped off to. I know you probably won't remember
me, but it is worth a try! i came to watch a Redwood gig in 1997 at the Esplanade in
Southend. I was a vocalist in a band called Brethren at the time, and we got a mention in
'Blurb'. Anyway, its nice to know that you are still kicking around, even if it is under a
